BMC Multistage Compact wellhead

BMC Multistage Compact wellhead allows the installation of up to two Casing Hangers, and Tubing Hanger through BOP. Proprietary Quick Lock Connection is provided on top of compact wellhead body.

WELLHEAD SPECIFICATION

Main features:

  • Quick Connection on top of wellhead body.
  • OD of wellhead body able to be installed through Diverter / BOP;
  • Single 45° landing shoulder to support multiple casings;
  • Interchangeability of components to reduce inventory;
  • Studded Side Outlets with Valve Removal Plug thread.
  • Contingency system, composed by Slip Hanger and Pack-Off, requires casing internal cut.
  • Housing bottom connections: Slip on Weld, Slip Lock, Threaded Connection.
  • Landing Base option, to transfer wellhead loads to Conductor Pipe or Cellar Floor.

“BMC” Mandrel Casing Hangers have the following features:

  • An external left hand ACME thread for running/retrieving;
  • A box thread on bottom for casing suspension;
  • Milled slots for mud return during cement job;
  • An external profile suitable for the annulus Pack-Off;
  • All threads have an anti-galling surface treatment.

“BMC” Pack-Off

  • The “BMC” Pack-Off is provided with two internal and two external elastomeric seals for sealing  the wellhead bore/casing hanger annulus.
  • The locking mechanism is provided by positive snap ring released by the Running/Retrieving Tool.
  • Same Pack-off is used on each stage.
